SOUTHERN DRAW KUDZU EARNS HIGH MARKS IN THE VERTICAL BRAND TASTING FROM CIGAR INSIDER!
Southern Draw Cigars is a veteran-owned-and-operated cigar company founded by Robert Holt in 2014. One of the company’s first lines was Kudzu, a cigar made with an Ecuador Habano Oscuro cover leaf and a binder from the volcanic island of Ometepe in Nicaragua. A limited-edition size of Kudzu called Lustrum Belicoso Fino debuted at this year’s PCA trade show. According to Holt, Lustrum celebrates the fifth anniversary of the brand. Lustrum is a term that means five years. The Lustrum Belicoso Fino and Toro sizes showed the most complexity, both scoring 92 points.
