At the 2019 IPCPR, Southern Draw Cigars will introduce a new addition to the Rose of Sharon premium cigar line. The Desert Rose is described as “a hearty sun-loving cigar that thrives in these hot temperatures.”
According to the company’s press release, Desert Rose “has a heartier wrapper and is a more robust version of our original blend.” Sharon Holt, co-founder of Southern Draw Cigars and inspiration for the Rose of Sharon line and known as “The Boss Lady” by her husband Southern Draw Chief Evangelist Robert Holt, continued, “The Desert Rose is covered in a velvety smooth Ecuadorian cloud-grown Claro wrapper, and integrity from a thick and flavorful Condega, Nicaraguan Habano binder and a new filler combination marrying both Corojo 99 and Piloto Cubano ligeros from Honduras and the Dominican Republic. The Desert Rose is an almost flawless medium bodied, medium flavored cigar that is as beautiful as the original blend while offering a buttery smooth yet spicy ‘burst of flavor’ with each draw before yielding to a very clean palate. We leave the rest of the images and unique flavor transitions to those that choose to make a purchase.” Read full story here >
